A 600-acre walkable town built on Louisville's former WAVE Farm.
Norton Commons is a roughly 600-acre Traditional Neighborhood Development in the Prospect area of Louisville's East End, about 13 miles from downtown, split into a North Village and South Village around a central park and lake.
From A TV Farm To A Town Plan
The land was George Norton's WAVE Farm, home to Kentucky's first television station and a progressive-farming education program starting in 1955, before his daughter Mary Norton Shands worked with town planner Andres Duany's DPZ firm to design a New Urbanist community instead of conventional suburbia.
A Nationally Recognized New Urbanist Design
Norton Commons is approved for 2,880 dwelling units and was honored with a 2019 CNU Charter Award — it was also the only project of its kind in a multi-state area to keep performing through the Great Recession.
A Walkable Town Center
The Town Center is home to more than 50 local restaurants, boutiques, and professional services, plus a weekly farmers market, Food Truck Fridays, and a full-service YMCA — all within walking distance of most homes.
150+ Acres Of Parks & Amenities
Residents share more than 150 acres of parks and trails, three neighborhood pools, three dog parks, a community garden, and an amphitheater that seats 2,000-plus overlooking South Lake for concerts and festivals.

"I want every Norton Commons client to understand the deal as well as I do before we sign anything."
A realtor who treats your Norton Commons deal like it's my own money.
I'm Ryan Brown, a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Premier Properties working with buyers and sellers across Louisville, Kentucky — including Indian Hills and the surrounding east end. Before real estate, I spent four and a half years in the Marine Corps Infantry, including three deployments, then came home and used the GI Bill to attend the University of Louisville. I got my start rehabbing a $10,000 two-bedroom house, and the results hooked me on real estate ever since.
That hands-on start turned into years of steady growth — my team and I have helped close more than $20 million in real estate acquisitions and hundreds of units across the Louisville metro. These days I bring that same disciplined, numbers-first approach to Norton Commons buyers and sellers, whether it's a Town Center condo or a South Village estate home.

“Ryan Brown is an excellent Realtor. He listened to our concerns and answered any questions we had along the way. He worked diligently to sell our home and found us the perfect home for our family.”
“Ryan listed and sold my previous home and helped me find and buy my current home. He provided amazing service on both accounts and I highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell property.”
